Field Events 2008

There has been much discussion about hosting informal fun fly events at the field on a Wednesday evening during the summer months. Water bombing, relay events, limbo, etc. are all being considered. If you have any good, simple (and cheap) ideas then please contact a committee member or email the webmaster.

Bonfire night 2008

After the success of the 2007 Bonfire evening the club will be repeating the event in 2008. This year it will be held on the 8th of November. We will announce specific arrangements closer to the time but any assistance from the membership would be most welcome. Donations of fireworks for last years event were extremely generous. I would only ask that any future donations are provided early to allow the event orgniser time to properly layout the display for the best display and maximuk safety.

50 Years of the BFRCMS celebration 2008

Many of you may be aware that 2008 marks the 50th anniversary of our club. The committee intend to mark the occasion with two special events for club members and invited guests. As more details of this emerge we will setup a separate page dedicated to the event. If any members or past members have ideas an information that could be useful for making this event event more noteworthy, then the committee would be very grateful to hear from them.
